While the Halfway Cardinals couldn't quite beat the Lighthouse Christian Chargers on Tuesday, the three-point margin was a huge improvement compared to the 39-point defeat they were dealt last Friday. Halfway fell just short of Lighthouse Christian by a score of 50-47. Halfway was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Lighthouse Christian apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.
Judah Louderback continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Lighthouse Christian, scoring 15 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Louderback has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Orin Stinson, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
This is the second loss in a row for Halfway and nudges their season record down to 10-10. As for Lighthouse Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-9 record this season.
Halfway will stay at home for another game and welcome Humansville at 5:30 p.m. on February 9th. Lighthouse Christian will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Tournament Opponent on February 9th.
