The biggest upset of the week belonged to East, who took down 372nd ranked East, 41-31. Tanner Peck threw for 417 yards and five touchdowns and ran for six yards in the win.
Downingtown East extended the longest winning streak in Ches-Mont - National this week by beating St. Mark's, 26-21. The victory was the sixth in a row for the team.
Jared Braxton was the best wideout in the league this week as Avon Grove topped the Vikings. Braxton tallied four receptions for 156 yards. John D'Aquanno helped Avon Grove's passing attack out by catching three balls for 101 yards.
Tino Bunhu was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 100 yards on 16 carries as Downingtown West defeated East. Teammate Nick Pagel added to the ground attack by rushing for 19 yards.
Downingtown East's Kyle Lauletta and Chris Beals have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading Ches-Mont - National in both passing and receiving yards. 6-3 quarterback Lauletta has thrown for 1408 yards this season, while Beals has 31 catches for 573 yards. Henderson's Garrett Girafalco leads the league in rushing yards with 468.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Mike Matta's team takes on Bishop Shanahan. The Cougars are currently in first, while the Eagles are in fifth.
Avon Grove moved up to 421 from 464 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. Doug Langley's team climbed the ranks as a result of a 41-31 win over Dan Ellis' team.
