This season hasn't been kind to the Far Northeast W Warriors, who are still winless after their 14th contest. They took a serious blow against George Washington on Saturday, falling 94-43. Far Northeast W was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 53-14.
It was another big night for Jeremiah Trimm, who scored 27 points along with six rebounds and five steals for George Washington. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Trimm has scored all season. Chris Fernandez was another key contributor, scoring 20 points.
Far Northeast W's loss dropped their record down to 0-14. As for George Washington, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-6.
Far Northeast W will head out on the road to face off against Rangeview at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Rangeview presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Far Northeast W in Colorado (Rangeview is ranked 123rd, while Far Northeast W is ranked 309th). As for George Washington, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Denver South at 7:30 p.m. Hopefully Denver South focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 on Friday.
