Even though the Havelock Rams have not done well against the D.H. Conley Vikings recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. Havelock came out on top against D.H. Conley by a score of 59-47. For Havelock, this counts as revenge for the 67-51 defeat D.H. Conley walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2023.
Chris Strong continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 26 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Jaheim Waller was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Havelock's victory bumped their record up to 5-9. As for D.H. Conley, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Havelock will take on New Bern at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Averaging 61 so far this season, New Bern's high-powered offense has been in full-swing lately, so Havelock better be ready for a challenge. As for D.H. Conley, they will head out on the road to face off against Northern Nash at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
