Ethan Yoder posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Wednesday. He struck out four batters over three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits (and only one walk). He is becoming a predictor of Northridge's success: when he allows at most two earned runs the team is 2-1 (and 1-2 when he doesn't).

Looking ahead, Yoder and Northridge will be playing in front of their home fans against Concord at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
