Chippewa Valley had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the L'Anse Creuse North Crusaders. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 8-7 win back in April.

Chippewa Valley's record is now 17-9-1. As for L'Anse Creuse North, they moved to 27-12 with that defeat, which also ended their five-game winning streak.
