The Bolles Bulldogs had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They claimed a resounding 66-33 win over Paxon School For Advanced Studies on the road. Bolles has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 contests by 21 points or more this season.
It was another big night for Abby Knauff, who scored 20 points along with six steals. Terrell McCoy was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds.
The win was the fourth in a row for Bolles, bringing their record for this year to 18-7. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.5 points per game. As for Paxon School For Advanced Studies, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-8.
Bolles didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 51-49 loss vs. Bishop Kenny on the 9th. Paxon School For Advanced Studies will take on Ribault at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Ribault focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 23 on Friday.
