  Addison Huber was nothing short of spectacular: he threw for 165 yards and four touchdowns while completing 73.3% of his passes, and also rushed for 74 yards on only six carries. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D,  making a tackle and defending a pass in addition to snagging   an  interception.  Drea Villarreal was another key player, rushing for 96 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries.
 He was just one part of a punishing run game: West Central was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 235  rushing yards. That's the most  rushing yards they've managed all season.
 South Newton's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for West Central, they now also have a winning record of 3-2.
 South Newton was dealt a bruising  54-6 defeat at the hands of West Central in their previous matchup  back in September of 2023. That  matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point South Newton was down  48-6.
