It was a good run, but the Bethesda-Chevy Chase Barons unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Monday. They fell 60-52 to Paint Branch. If Bethesda-Chevy Chase hoped to take revenge for the 53-43 defeat against they when the teams met, then they were left disappointed.
Paint Branch's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Dennis Tamnou led the charge by dropping a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Horm, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds and two blocks.
Bethesda-Chevy Chase's loss dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Paint Branch, their win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-2.
