Meanwhile, Buckeye Valley didn't have too much trouble with Whitehall-Yearling on the road on Thursday as they won 23-7. The victory was just what Buckeye Valley needed coming off of a 41-8 loss in their prior contest.
Buckeye Valley found their leader in underclassman Malakhi Ross, who rushed for 175 yards and a touchdown while picking up 9.7 yards per carry.
Tri-Valley's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Buckeye Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 5-5.
