Softball Recap: Valley Wins Going Away Against Minford

Valley won the last time they faced Minford and things went their way on Thursday too. The Indians blew past the Falcons 11-3. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won four matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Valley has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-7 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. As for Minford, they dropped their record down to 1-10 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Valley will face off against Western Brown at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. The Broncos will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something the Indians surely won't give up without a fight. As for Minford, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Eastern at 5:00 p.m.
