After flying high against Johnson last week, the Harding Knights came back down to earth. Harding was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap this past Thursday as they fell 75-69 to the Highland Park Scots. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Knights of the 75-66 loss they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head in January.
Harding's overall record fell to 10-14. Highland Park's victory brought them up to an identical 10-14.
Harding will square off against St. Croix Prep on Friday. Harding is the clear underdog, so they're hoping it's the size of the fight that determines this one. Highland Park will take on St. Paul Central Monday at home.
