Gladstone are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Seaside on Friday at 7:00 PM. Gladstone are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the contest prepared for a fight.
It was all tied up at halftime, but Gladstone weren't quite Marshfield's equal in the second half when they met last Friday. Gladstone fell just short of Marshfield by a score of 17-20. Gladstone got a solid performance out of Sabastain P, who rushed for 86 yards and 1 touchdown; unfortunately, it just wasn't enough for the victory.
Meanwhile, Seaside were able to grind out a solid win over Marist, winning 33-22. The success made it back-to-back wins for Seaside.
Seaside's win lifted them to 2-0 while Gladstone's defeat dropped them down to 1-1. We'll see if Seaside's success rolls on or if Gladstone are able to steal their positive momentum.
