Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Parkway South). They really took it to the Affton Cougars for the full four quarters, racking up a 73-30 victory. While the Patriots didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

It was another big night for Noah Barnes, who went 9 for 14 on his way to 24 points and six assists. Jacob Sidwell was another key player, going 6 of 8 on his way to 14 points and five rebounds.

Parkway South smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in seven consecutive games.

Parkway South is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.0 points per game. As for Affton, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.

Parkway South will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against Hazelwood East at 10:30 a.m. As for Affton, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 67-32 loss against Valley Park on the 19th.
