Meanwhile, Lehman Catholic strolled past Milton-Union with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 52-33. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Lehman Catholic.
Miami East's loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Lehman Catholic, their win bumped their record up to 11-3.
Miami East beat Lehman Catholic 48-38 in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Miami East since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
