The Secaucus Patriots's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fifth straight loss. Their tough 59-33 loss to Fort Lee might stick with them for a while. Secaucus lost against Fort Lee in their previous head to head back in December of 2021, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 53-42 score last time.
It was another big night for Devin Jang, who scored 23 points along with three steals for Fort Lee. Another player making a difference was Guy Vickers, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds.
Secaucus' loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Fort Lee, their victory bumped their record up to 2-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Secaucus' road trip will continue as they head out to face Harrison at 5:30 p.m. on January 3rd. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in New Jersey (Harrison is ranked 411th, while Secaucus is ranked 396th). As for Fort Lee, they will head out on the road to face off against Dumont at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Dumont will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
