On Saturday, Viewmont beat Crimson Cliffs 48-37. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Viewmont.
Among those leading the charge was Mary Carr, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 12 rebounds. She continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Aubrey Mulitalo, who scored 9 points along with 6 rebounds.
Crimson Cliffs' loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alyssa Whittaker, who scored 13 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals. Kenadee Richey was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with 3 steals.
The victory got Viewmont back to even at 3-3. As for Crimson Cliffs, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Viewmont is on the road again on Tuesday and play against Weber at 5:15 p.m. on December 12th. Crimson Cliffs will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Dixie at 7:00 p.m. on December 19th.
