The Centennial Knights will head out on the road to challenge the Lanier Longhorns at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Centennial will be strutting in after a victory while Lanier will be coming in after a loss.
After failing to score in their last game, Centennial made sure to put some goals up on the board against Stone Mountain on Thursday. They never let the Pirates onto the board and left with a 10-0 victory.
Meanwhile, Lanier fell victim to South Forsyth's stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. Their rough 4-0 loss to the War Eagles might stick with them for a while. Lanier has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
The win got Centennial back to even at 1-1. As for Lanier, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
