The Lehigh Valley Academy Jaguars will be playing at home against the Lehigh Christian Academy Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Lehigh Valley Academy and five for Lehigh Christian Academy.
Lehigh Valley Academy suffered their biggest defeat since December 2, 2023 on Saturday. They were dealt a 68-38 defeat at the hands of Lincoln Leadership Academy. While losing is never fun, Lehigh Valley Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 589th, while Lincoln Leadership Academy is ranked 232nd).
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Christopher Hunt, who scored ten points. Another player making a difference was Ziyon Wilkins, who scored ten points.
Meanwhile, Lehigh Christian Academy was beaten by Nazareth Area 85-53 last Saturday.
The losing side was boosted by Jacob Lewis, who scored 28 points. That was a full 52.8% of Lehigh Christian Academy's points, marking the tenth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Lehigh Valley Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Lehigh Christian Academy, they bumped their record down to 3-7 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.
