Meanwhile, Ganado can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent contest on Friday. They blew past Skidmore-Tynan, posting a 62-0 win on the road. Given Ganado's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 418th, while Skidmore-Tynan is ranked 1044th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Bures was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 60 yards. Austen Pena also helped out with an impressive 94 receiving yards.
Refugio's win was their fifth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 8-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.8 points per game. As for Ganado, their win bumped their record up to 8-1.
Everything came up roses for Refugio against Ganado in their previous matchup back in November of 2022 as the squad secured a 53-7 victory. Does Refugio have another victory up their sleeve, or will Ganado turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
