The Paradise Honors Panthers can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent match on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Shadow Mountain 57-22 at home. With that victory, Paradise Honors brought their scoring average up to 50.2 points per game.
Morgan Van Dyke continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 18 points along with two steals. She has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last four times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jocelyn Leal, who scored ten points along with five assists and three steals.
Despite the loss, Shadow Mountain still got an impressive performance from Brinley Lensch, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 12 rebounds. Lensch is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last three games she's played.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Shadow Mountain struggled to work together and finished the game with only three assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Paradise Honors posted 16 assists.
Paradise Honors' victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-4. As for Shadow Mountain, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.
Paradise Honors will head out on the road to take on Greenway at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Shadow Mountain, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Moon Valley at 5:30 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Arizona (Moon Valley is ranked 251st, while Shadow Mountain is ranked 244th).
