The Southview Christian Conquerors pushed their score all the way to 67 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 80-67 to Victory Christian Academy. While losing is never fun, Southview Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 546th, while Victory Christian Academy is ranked 252nd).
When it comes to explaining why Southview Christian lost, one person who can't be blamed is Dakota Farthing. Despite the final result, he scored 45 points. That was a full 67.2% of Southview Christian's points, marking the sixth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Colten Durham was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
