The Grove School Ravens will be playing in front of their home fans against the Crossroads Christian Warriors at 4:30 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with 18 consecutive losses dating back to last season for The Grove School and four for the Warriors.
Last Monday, The Grove School had to suffer through a rough 83-18 loss at the hands of the Crusaders. The Grove School has not had much luck with the Crusaders recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 68 points the game before, Crossroads Christian were a bit more limited in their matchup on Monday. They were beaten by Calvary Baptist 85-25. Crossroads Christian was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-12.
The Grove School's loss was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Crossroads Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-13.
The Grove School came up short against the Warriors when the teams last played back in January, falling 51-43. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Crossroads Christian's Jacob Faldas, who scored 20 points along with six steals.
