Baltic has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 20 points or more this season. Everything went their way against Elkton/Lake Benton on Tuesday as Baltic made off with a 54-34 victory.
Madison's win was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.5 points per game. As for Baltic, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.
Everything went Madison's way against Baltic when the teams last played back in February as Madison made off with a 69-46 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Madison since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
