Abundant Life Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took  a  46-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of Kearny Christian Academy on Tuesday. Abundant Life Academy just can't catch a break and has now endured seven defeats in a row dating back to last season.
 Abundant Life Academy lost  despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being   Josh Amoah, who  dropped  a double-double on 12  points and ten  boards. Another player making a difference was  Duncan Oduro, who  posted 11  points and four  steals.
 Kearny Christian Academy found their leader in freshman  Hamadou Seidou, who  had 22 points in addition to seven  steals and five  boards. Those seven  steals set a new season-high mark for  Seidou. The team also got some help courtesy of  David Manzo, who  put up nine points and five  steals.
The  win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
 Abundant Life Academy will take on Trinity Christian at 5:30  p.m.  on Friday. As for Kearny Christian Academy, they will face off against Harmony Christian at 5:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Kearny Christian Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 69  points per game  this season.
