Davin Mccoy Drops League-Best Effort on Friday
Starting off the list is North Raleigh Christian Academy's Davin Mccoy, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. On Friday Mccoy made four total tackles (1.0 for loss) and defended a pass. The effort also marked the most rushing yards (212) he has had since back in October of 2023. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 65 yards.
North Raleigh Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-4. They and Trinity Christian are set to duel on Friday.

Trinity Christian Wins Fifth-Straight Thanks to Xayden Watson
Trinity Christian picked up their fifth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Xayden Watson. Watson was dynamite, picking up 129 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
Trinity Christian pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. They and North Raleigh Christian Academy are set to duel on Friday.

Oehlke Came Up Big in Trinity Christian's 48-13 Win
Keeping Watson company is Elijiah Oehlke, a fellow Trinity Christian player. He threw for 269 yards and three touchdowns on only 16 passes, and also punched in a rushing score. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last three games he's played dating back to last season.
Unfortunately for Ravenscroft, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Oehlke. When Oehlke last faced the Ravens back in October of 2023, he threw for 329 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 11.3 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 42 yards and two touchdowns.

Demetrius Jones's big game helped extend Harrells Christian Academy's winning streak to five on Friday. Jones turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 87 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries.
Harrells Christian Academy's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-1. Jones and Harrells Christian Academy will welcome GRACE Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Joshua Brown Makes It Two for North Raleigh Christian Academy
The second North Raleigh Christian Academy player making an appearance here is Joshua Brown, and for good reason. He threw for 156 yards and three touchdowns while completing 85.7% of his passes.
Unfortunately for GRACE Christian, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Brown. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Brown saw the Eagles), he threw for 170 yards and four touchdowns on only 15 passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.
