It was another big night for Kenzie Fulks, who scored 19 points along with nine assists and eight steals. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Sydney Goodin, who scored 19 points along with two steals.
When it comes to explaining why Indianapolis Washington lost, one person who can't be blamed is Malaysha Flanagan. Despite the final result, she scored 12 points. That was a full 54.5% of Indianapolis Washington's points, marking the 12th time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Bethesda Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season. As for Indianapolis Washington, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bethesda Christian will take on University at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully University focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 last Saturday. As for Indianapolis Washington, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Irvington Preparatory Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Irvington Preparatory Academy comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 25 points in their last 14 games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
