Baseball Recap: Sentinel Wins Going Away Against Cordell

While Sentinel put up plenty of runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Cordell. Sentinel was the clear victor by a 16-0 margin over Cordell. The result was nothing new for Sentinel, who have now won four matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.

The win made it two in a row for Sentinel and bumps their season record up to 6-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.0 runs over those games. As for Cordell, their loss was their 23rd straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-25.

Coming up, Sentinel will face off against Sayre at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Sentinel surely won't give up without a fight. As for Cordell, they will challenge Erick at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Blue Devils are facing the Bearcats at the right time seeing as the Bearcats are stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
