Oxbridge Academy fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Palm Beach Central on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Broncos by a score of 3-2.

Brown has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in three consecutive pitching appearances. Brown was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and a double.
In other batting news, Berean Christian got a big performance out of Caleb Wier, who scored two runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-4. Connor King was another key contributor, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-4.
Oxbridge Academy's loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Berean Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 6-9-1.
