The Lewis County Lions and the Iroquois Raiders will face off at 7:45 p.m. on December 28th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around on Thursday.
Lewis County pushed their score all the way to 67 last Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They were the victim of a tough 92-67 loss at the hands of Beth Haven. Lewis County has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, Iroquois' recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fifth straight loss. Their tough 71-45 loss to Bullitt East might stick with them for a while. While losing is never fun, Iroquois can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 244th, while Bullitt East is ranked 83rd).
Lewis County now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Iroquois, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.
