  Maddie Cox made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off   seven  hits. Cox was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-5.
 In other batting news, Liberty got a  massive  performance out of  Katie Mullens, who  went 3-for-5 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and a  triple.  Alyson Griffith was another key contributor,  going 2-for-4 with four  RBI, a  triple,  and a  run.
 Meanwhile, Oak Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight  loss. They fell victim to a  tough 20-1 defeat at the hands of Nicholas County.
 Liberty's victory bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Oak Hill, their loss dropped their record down to 2-11.
 Liberty took their  win against Oak Hill  when the teams last played  back in April of 2023 by a conclusive  11-5. Does  Liberty have another victory up their sleeve, or will Oak Hill turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
