Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Omak). They rang in the new year with a 64-52 victory over the Okanogan Bulldogs on Saturday. For the Pioneers, this counts as revenge for the 64-38 win the Bulldogs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2022.

Omak is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.0 points per game. As for Okanogan, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Omak will head out to square off against Cascade at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Okanogan, they will head out on the road to face off against Bridgeport at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
