Bendle is 3-0 against the Panthers since February of 2016, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The Bendle Tigers will head out on the road to square off against the Mt. Morris Panthers at 7:00 p.m. Bendle knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past six matchups -- so hopefully the Panthers like a good challenge.
Bendle stacked a seventh blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 73-42 victory over Bentley at home.
Malis Firman continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 18 points and ten assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Elijah Boyd, who scored 15 points along with five assists and five rebounds.
Meanwhile, Mt. Morris' recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They were the victim of a rough 52-31 loss at the hands of Ovid-Elsie. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Mt. Morris has scored all season.
Bendle has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. As for Mt. Morris, they now have a losing record at 9-10.
Bendle strolled past the Panthers in their previous matchup back in February of 2023 by a score of 71-56. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bendle since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
