The Twinfield Trojans had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They blew past Twin Valley 77-53. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Twinfield also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2021.
Despite the defeat, Twin Valley saw an underclassman step up: Brayden Brown scored 20 points along with 8 assists and 4 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Dornbrgh, who scored 15 points.
Twinfield's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Twin Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Proctor the next time they take the court. Twinfield will head out to face Proctor on Saturday, while Twin Valley will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
