Their rough 72-46 defeat to Victory Christian Academy might stick with them for a while. The matchup was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly Mountain View Christian Academy struggled afterwards.
Leading Victory Christian Academy to victory were Gabriel Thompson and Lloyd Hampton. Thompson scored 20 points, while Hampton scored 20 points. That makes it five consecutive games in which Thompson has scored at least 25% of Victory Christian Academy's points. Another player making a difference was Josiah Copeland, who scored 10 points.
Mountain View Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Victory Christian Academy, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.
Mountain View Christian Academy will head out on the road to face off against Lake Lure Classical Academy at 4:30 a.m. on Tuesday. As for Victory Christian Academy, they will be playing at home against Rockwell Christian School at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Rockwell Christian School is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
