Breckenridge hadn't done well against Merrill recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Huskies put the hurt on the Vandals with a sharp 3-0 victory. That looming 3-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Huskies yet this season.

Breckenridge's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-1. As for Merrill, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-7-1.
