The Argos Dragons suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Wednesday. They were the victim of a rough 72-52 loss at the hands of Glenn. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Argos in their matchups with Glenn: they've now lost four in a row.
Despite the loss, Argos still got an impressive performance from Sean Richard, who scored 22 points along with eight rebounds and six assists. That was a full 42.3% of Argos' points, marking the fifth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Zhayne Hellums, who scored 12 points.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Glenn to victory, but perhaps none more so than Joe Chrapliwy, who scored 19 points along with six rebounds. Joey Shoue was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with six assists and six rebounds.
Argos' defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Glenn, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-6.
Argos on the road again on Friday and play against Lakeland Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 26th. Lakeland Christian Academy is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home. Glenn will take on Mishawaka Marian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Mishawaka Marian presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Glenn in Indiana (Mishawaka Marian is ranked 111th, while Glenn is ranked 255th).
