The Reagan Bison will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against the Downtown Doral Dolphins at 3:30 p.m. Reagan comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 22 points in their last 12 games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
Reagan suffered their biggest defeat since December 4, 2023 on Wednesday. They were dealt a 50-18 loss at the hands of Sunset. Reagan found out winning isn't easy when you're outrebounded 13 to 1 on offense.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Camila Reyes, who scored 14 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season.
Downtown Doral has not had quite the year their fans were hoping for to this point, but back-to-back wins may be a sign of good things to come. They secured a 27-22 W over Academy for Innovative Education on Thursday.
Reagan bumped their record down to 1-11 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Downtown Doral, their win bumped their record up to 4-7.
