Section 4 C Division III recap November 13, 2013
Chenango Forks extended the longest winning streak in Section 4 C Division III this week by beating Waverly, 49-15. The victory was the eighth in a row for the team.
Chenango Forks led the league in scoring this week by notching 49 points on the Wolverines.
Chenango Valley's Bryan Pert and Gavin Ashman have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 5-11 quarterback Pert has thrown for 928 yards this season, while Ashman has 35 catches for 535 yards. Vincent Darpino from Newark Valley leads the league in rushing with 717 yards.
Dave Hogan's team made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 1,960 from 2,338. The advance stemmed from a 49-15 victory over Waverly last week.
