There's no place like home for Pearl, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They blew past the Meridian Wildcats 15-2 on Tuesday. The Pirates haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Pearl's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-8 and their overall record up to 6-15. As for Meridian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 16 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-17 record this season.

Pearl will have a chance to go back-to-back against Meridian: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
