A Season-Best Effort from J'vien Adams Leads Iowa over Leesville
J'Vien Adams produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Iowa to the win on Friday. Adams rushed for 182 yards and a touchdown while picking up 10.1 yards per carry, and also picked up 54 receiving yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an incredible 80 yards.
Iowa pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. Adams and Iowa have the luxury of staying home for another week and will welcome Washington-Marion at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Unfortunately for Iowa, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Ford. When Ford last faced the Yellowjackets back in September of 2023, he rushed for 264 yards and three touchdowns.
