Brattleboro is 2-8 against Rutland since February of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. Brattleboro's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Johnathon Haskins, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 14 rebounds. Haskins hasn't dropped below 14 rebounds for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Keagan Systo, who scored 16 points.
Meanwhile, Rutland faced Burr & Burton in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Rutland came out on top against Burr & Burton by a score of 55-43 on Thursday. 55 seems to be a good number for Rutland as the team scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.
Brattleboro's victory bumped their record up to 6-10. As for Rutland, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.
