Peetz had to endure a 17-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They blew past the Banner County Wildcats 49-28 on Saturday. The Bulldogs' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Banner County lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Kyrie Roldan, who posted eight points along with 11 boards and five steals. Abigayle Jones was another key player, putting up three points and eight rebounds.

Peetz's win ended a ten-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-4. As for Banner County, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 1-4.

Peetz didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 36-33 victory against Creek Valley on the 17th. Banner County will take on Potter-Dix in a holiday battle at at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
