Midlothian has gone  a perfect 10-0 against James River Midlothian recently and they'll look to pad the win column further  on Tuesday. The Trojans are taking a road trip to  challenge the Rapids  at 5:00  p.m. Midlothian is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.
James River Midlothian's hitters are going to have their work cut out for them  on Tuesday: Midlothian hadn't allowed a single  run the last three times they've hit the field. The Trojans blew past Manchester 10-0 on Tuesday. The Trojans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matches by six  runs or more this season.
The result came thanks to  Charlotte Daniels's shutout, as she gave up just four  hits and racked up six Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in nine consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side, Midlothian got a big performance out of  Erika Fiege, who  went a perfect 3-for-3 with two  runs and one  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Ava Vozar, who  went 1-for-2 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI.
Meanwhile,  after soaring to 19  runs the game before, James River Midlothian was a bit more limited  in their  game  on Wednesday. They came up short against  Clover Hill, falling  17-1.
 James River Midlothian saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Georgia Swenck, who  went 1-for-2 with one  RBI.
 James River Midlothian has also traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-15 record  this season. Those  losses can't be blamed on the team's hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 6.6 runs over those games. As for Midlothian, their victory was  their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 18-0.
James River Midlothian's hitters will have their work cut out for them  on Tuesday. Midlothian has been retiring batters left and right this season,  having  averaged 9.2  strikeouts per game. It's a different story for James River Midlothian, though, as  they've been averaging  only 2.3  strikeouts. Will Midlothian keep running through batters, or will the Rapids buck the trend?
 Midlothian beat James River Midlothian 6-2  in their previous meeting  back in April. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Trojans since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
