Notre Dame's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ella Kirby, who scored 16 points. Another player making a difference was Katie Strickland, who scored eight points along with 13 rebounds and two steals.
Fairland's win on Monday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Bree Allen, who scored 21 points along with eight rebounds and five steals. Allen is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 16 or more in the last four games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Bailey Russell, who scored 20 points along with four steals.
Notre Dame's defeat dropped their record down to 17-4. As for Fairland, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 21-1.
Notre Dame does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Fairland also has no future games currently scheduled.
