The Skyline Grizzlies scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They came out on top against Idaho Falls by a score of 82-72. The win was just what Skyline needed coming off of a 64-29 loss in their prior game.
Idaho Falls' defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Bradley Elison, who scored 23 points along with six assists and six rebounds. Elison hasn't dropped below 15 points for six straight games. Another player making a difference was Tegan Sorenson, who scored 16 points.
Skyline's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-11. As for Idaho Falls, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-15.
Skyline will head out on the road to challenge the Knights at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Hillcrest's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last eight games. As for Idaho Falls, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Broncos at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Blackfoot focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Friday.
