Stony Brook picked up another tournament win on Thursday. They blew past the Wesleyan Christian Academy Trojans 12-1. The result was nothing new for the Bears, who have now won six contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Stony Brook is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games. As for Wesleyan Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Stony Brook will face off against Varsity Opponent on Friday. As for Wesleyan Christian Academy, they will take on West Henderson at 6:00 p.m. on the 18th.
