Valley View found their leader in underclassman Charles Knight, who went 7 for 9 from beyond the arc en route to 43 points and 3 assists. That makes it four consecutive games in which Knight has scored at least 25% of Valley View's points. Jalyn Talbert was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 13 points and 13 rebounds.
The victory got Valley View back to even at 9-9. As for Paloma Valley, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-7.
Valley View won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Lakeside at 1:30 p.m. on December 30th. Lakeside is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. Paloma Valley and Canyon Springs will face off at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2024 without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
