Wickliffe is 9-1 against Harvey since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Blue Devils will head out to face off against the Red Raiders at 4:30 p.m. Wickliffe will be strutting in after a victory while Harvey will be coming in after a loss.

Wyatt Boehmer made a splash no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out eight over five innings pitched. Boehmer was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024.
In other batting news, Blake Ludvik and Noah Touschner did most of the damage at the plate: Ludvik scored two runs while going 1-for-1, while Touschner scored a run while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. The dominant performance also gave Ludvik a new career-high in RBI (three). Another player making a difference was Kaden Urban, who scored two runs while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.
Wickliffe always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .722. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Harvey came up short against Cornerstone Christian on Friday and fell 7-4.
Ryan Delaney was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-4. He also hit a double, marking his first of the season. Rodrigo Flores was another key player, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-3.
Wickliffe's win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-1. As for Harvey, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
Monday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Wickliffe has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .602. However, it's not like Harvey struggles in that department as they've averaged .503. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Wickliffe took their victory against Harvey when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 10-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Blue Devils since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
