Bloomfield is 1-7 against Barr-Reeve since May of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Cardinals are taking a road trip to square off against the Vikings at 5:30 p.m. Bloomfield is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.1 runs per game this season.
Bloomfield's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over Dugger Union. The victory continues a trend for the Cardinals in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won four in a row.
Chase Wiles made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two RBI, one run, and one double.

The scorekeeper got an easy start on Monday as neither Barr-Reeve nor Shakamak made it on the board until the fifth inning. The Vikings fell just short of the Lakers by a score of 4-3. The Vikings' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.
Bloomfield pushed their record up to 9-12 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Barr-Reeve, their loss dropped their record down to 18-5.
Bloomfield might still be hurting after the 6-0 defeat they got from Barr-Reeve in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. Can the Cardinals avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
